Delivery:
Our delivery fees are based on mileage, directness of routes, and our own personal driving experiences.
Scheduling is never easy! We regret we cannot commit to a time of day; however, we will do our best to indicate a 2 hour window AM or PM.
It is not necessary that you be present for your delivery. Provide us with instructions at the time of purchase, mark the area with a designated item and we will do everything in our power to see that your needs are met. Please note we cannot be responsible for product delivered in the wrong area if the area was not properly marked.
Take into consideration the height clearance required by our trucks while dumping. When deciding where you would like your materials dumped, please check the area for overhead wires, low tree limbs, etc.
We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes. If a cancellation is giving to us in less than 24 hours, this will result in a $25.00 cancellation fee.
WITH FLUCTUATING FUEL COSTS WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASSESS A FUEL SURCHARGE.
Last but not least, in the wet weather the ground is very soft. Our heavy trucks cannot always go where your car, pickup truck or garden tractor can go. It is very important that you have an alternate delivery area planned.

How do I become a contractor?
To become a contractor you must have two forms of I.D. that shows proof that you are in the landscape or masonry business. This only applies to companies in the landscape, masonry or building trade.
How do pavers hold up in the winter?
Extremely well. Small, high density units resist cracking as well as damage from freeze-thaw cycles and salts. Pavers are stronger than ordinary or stamped concrete. Smooth surface allows for easy snow removal.
Can I plow pavers in the winter?
Yes! Due to the smooth surface & resilient nature of pavers, plow trucks have no difficulty in the winter.
Do pavers lose color after they have been installed for a while?
The pigments used to color concrete pavers are very stable. Dirt and normal wear from traffic and weather may appear to change the color over time. Cleaning and sealing can restore and enhance the color.
Do I need a concrete footing to support my segmental or natural stone wall?
No. Unless the soil is extremely weak, a firmly compacted gravel footing is sufficient to support the wall and possesses the ability to accommodate natural movement of the wall.
If a paver gets broken or damaged, can it be replaced?
Yes. We recommend that you save a few pavers from your initial installation, just in case you need to replace one or two.
Can I use gravel behind my wall instead of 3/4" crushed stone?
No. It is very important that 3/4" crushed stone be used in order to provide proper drainage and prevent buildup of hydrostatic pressure, which can lead to wall failure. See one of our associates for stone volume calculations.
Is there a way to prevent weeds from growing between the joints of the pavers?
We recommend Polymeric sand which is a polymer-based sand that is engineered to harden once wet and will stay hard thereafter, and it will prevent ants and weeds from getting a foothold on your walkway or patio. We also sell Prosoco Paver Kare WB liquid which will harden ordinary fine play sand and also add a protective layer to your pavers.
There is a low spot on my paver driveway. Are the pavers defective?
No. Settlement is often caused by inadequate soil or base compaction, or by poor drainage caused by using the wrong type of gravel. This can be easily repaired by taking up the pavers, correcting the problem and reinstating the pavers.
Is it necessary to start my retaining wall below the frost line?
No. Unlike rigid retaining walls, segmental landscape wall systems are flexible structures and can accommodate slight movement and even settlement without cracking or other types of distress.
